About The Role
You will be a key fitness team member by providing members with 5* fitness service including inductions, programme writing, health assessments and ongoing gym floor support. You will also be required to teach a variety of studio and gym floor classes and progress to accumulating PT clients.
Your Responsibilities
- Deliver a 5* gym floor customer service and create a positive training environment
- Deliver inductions, write client programmes and offer members support
- Maintain a high level of cleanliness and maintenance of the kit and facility
- Be a gym floor presence engaging with members and guests
- Teach a variety of group classes
- Support the Active Space manager with day to day operational tasks and admin
- Work in collaboration with onsite stakeholders to promote the gym
What You’ll Bring
- Level 3 Personal Training or Sports science degree equivalent Qualifications
- A proven track record of successfully working independently to establish training needs, develop interventions to meet these needs, and deliver high-quality health and wellbeing solutions and interventions as a result
- Proven experience of developing effective working relationships and influencing employees
- Experience in teaching group fitness classes with emphasis on helping improve technique and ability
- Minimum of two years of personal training coaching experience
- A self–starter with strong planning and organising abilities
- First class interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- A passion and ethos for helping others with their health and wellbeing
- A flexible approach
- Excellent computer skills including Microsoft Office Suite or related products
Salary, Perks & Benefits
- Salary - £21,606.00 per annum + off shift PT income
- 30 hours per week, Monday – Thursday
- 25 days annual leave plus 1 in lieu of Christmas period
