Job Description Senior Actuary - Portfolio Analytics | London Market \n I'm currently working on a particularly interesting Senior Actuary opportunity within the Portfolio Analytics function of a leading specialty insurer. \n This is a broad, commercially focused position offering Syndicate-wide exposure , with the opportunity to work across classes and have a genuine impact on wider analytics and underwriting strategy. \n The role will involve: \n \n Leading cross-class actuarial analysis and helping develop the wider analytics strategy and roadmap \n * Developing and embedding pricing model capabilities and best practice across the business \n * Working closely with Underwriting, Pricing, Data & Technology and senior leadership \n * Using data and analytics to support risk selection, portfolio steering and underwriting performance \n * Helping develop automated pricing and analytics tools and dashboards \n * Providing analysis and insight for Committees, Senior Management and Board-level reporting \n \n We're looking for: \n \n FIA qualified (or equivalent) \n * Strong Lloyd's/London Market experience \n * A background in pricing and pricing transformation \n * Experience building pricing models, alongside an understanding of reserving techniques \n * Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills \n * An interest in how data and technology can improve actuarial and underwriting decision-making \n * Exposure to Python, HX, Power BI or Databricks would be beneficial, but isn't essential \n \n ??
