Oversee the operational integrity of the investment portfolio, ensuring investment activities are accurately recorded, monitored, and controlled. Acting as the link between strategy and execution, you will manage investment operations, systems, third-party providers, and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end investment operations, including trade settlement, accounting, reporting, mandate monitoring, and data integrity across multiple asset classes.
- Oversee relationships with custodians, fund managers, administrators, and data providers.
- Ensure correct asset positioning across trust funds and compliance with Lloyd's requirements.
- Maintain investment systems (e.g., Aladdin, Power BI) and ensure accurate portfolio data for internal, regulatory, and Lloyd's reporting.
- Investigate and resolve operational issues, breaches, and risk events while driving process improvements.
- Lead operational change initiatives, including manager transitions, new mandates, and account openings.
Requirements
- Investment operations, ideally within a Lloyd's Syndicate or insurance or asset management.
- Strong knowledge of Lloyd's processes, trust fund rules, and regulatory reporting.
- Understanding of traded assets, pooled investments, and illiquid asset valuation.
- Experience with investment systems (e.g., Aladdin), data management, and process automation.
