An established insurance business is seeking a Senior FP&A Analyst to join its Finance team on a 9 month contract basis. This role will support planning, forecasting, management reporting, and business partnering activities, working closely with underwriting, actuarial, and senior leadership teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Produce and maintain financial forecasts, budgets, and plans under UK and US GAAP.
  • Support Lloyd's market reporting and forecasting requirements.
  • Partner with underwriting teams to analyse performance, premiums, commissions, and business trends.
  • Deliver monthly and quarterly management reporting, including variance analysis and commentary.
  • Develop and maintain Power BI dashboards and financial reporting packs.
  • Support board reporting, business reviews, and ad hoc financial analysis.
  • Provide scenario modelling and business case support for strategic initiatives.

About You

  • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent).
  • 3+ years' experience in FP&A, commercial finance, or business partnering.
  • Strong Lloyd's market insurance experience, including reporting and forecasting (QMB experience advantageous).
  • Experience with planning tools such as TM1, Cognos, Anaplan, or similar.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
