I am currently partnered with a leading Lloyd's insurer that is seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join its expanding claims team.
The role will involve handling a varied portfolio of predominantly Casualty Claims (EL, GL, PL) with a small amount of Financial Lines. The successful candidate will have extensive experience managing complex Casualty claims across worldwide jurisdictions within the Lloyd's market. Proven experience using ECF and the Lloyd's Claims system is essential.
Key Responsibilities- Manage an allocated portfolio of Financial and Casualty claims, delivering fair, timely and effective outcomes for all stakeholders, with a focus on reducing claim lifecycle times and minimizing static claims.
- Deliver a consistent, high-quality claims service, ensuring claims are assessed promptly and in line with Lloyd's standards and internal service expectations, including ECF turnaround requirements.
- Support the preparation of internal and external management information and reporting, and assist with the operation of key claims controls, including aged claims, static claims, purge reporting and diary management.
- Contribute to portfolio profitability by ensuring appropriate claims handling, identifying and maximising subrogation opportunities, and effectively controlling claims-related costs.
- Operate within agreed financial and non-financial claims authorities, making referrals for declinatures, reservations of rights and litigation matters in line with governance and referral procedures.
- Provide support on reinsurance-related queries to enable timely recoveries and accelerate claims settlements.
