I am currently partnered with a leading Lloyd's Insurer who are seeking a Claims Adjuster to join their growing team. This role will be adjusting Marine, Energy and/or Political Risk Claims within a Lloyd's environment and may offer exposure to Property and A&H too. My client is looking for someone who has strong experience handling Marine/Energy/Political Risk Claims from worldwide jurisdictions within the Lloyd's Market. ECF and Lloyd's Claims System experience is essential for this role.
Key Responsibilities
- This role will involve a range of responsibilities, including ensuring that syndicate claims are managed to a high standard, in line with Lloyd's Minimum Standards, internal Claims Handling Guidelines, and established claims Key Performance Indicators.
- The successful candidate will contribute to overall profitability by ensuring claims are handled appropriately, subrogation opportunities are maximised, and expenses are effectively controlled.
- Directly handle claims to a high standard, identifying and pursuing opportunities to create value and protect the organisation's position through proactive claims management.
- Manage allocated claims to achieve satisfactory outcomes for all interested parties, with a focus on minimising the claims lifecycle and reducing static claims.
- Support the production of internal and external reports, as well as the operation of relevant controls.
- Act as a point of contact for internal stakeholders and functions, including Underwriting, Exposure Management, Reinsurance, Operations, Delegated Operations, and Compliance.
