I am currently partnered with a leading Motor Insurer who are seeking an Underwriter to join their growing HNW/Bespoke team. This role will be Underwriting HNW/Prestige Motor business from the UK, including Luxury vehicles with some key HNW clients. This will be dealing with new and existing business. My client is looking for someone with 2/3+ years in the Motor space, and are very open to an Assistant Underwriter or Broker who is keen to move into an Underwriting role. HNW experience is preferred but not essential.
Key Responsibilities
- Portfolio Performance: Contributing to portfolio performance management through analysis of results, supporting pricing and risk selection strategies, and making recommendations to drive continuous improvement and achieve financial targets.
- Team Collaboration Support: Working closely with performance analysts, providing guidance and support where appropriate, and leveraging team capabilities to deliver strategic objectives.
- Underwriting Input: Contributing to the development of underwriting appetite based on market insights, identifying opportunities to enhance portfolio performance.
- Culture Leadership: Supporting leadership in fostering a high-performance culture by demonstrating strong values.
