I am currently partnered with a Syndicate business who are seeking a Senior Claims Adjuster to join their growing team. This role will be adjusting complex US Marine Energy Liability Claims from first notice to settlement, including a broad range of risks. This is from both primary/excess layers, but predominately lead business. My client is looking for someone with extensive US Marine Energy Liability Claims Adjusting experience from a lead view, competent with ECF and Lloyd's Claims Schemes.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical leadership for Marine Energy claims, ensuring accurate and timely reserving, payments and claims resolution.
- Significant experience handling complex global Marine and Energy losses is essential.
- Assume responsibility for decision-making on the largest, most complex and strategically significant claims within the Marine Energy portfolio.
- Exercise a high level of claims authority, while overseeing and governing delegated reserving, payment and settlement authority granted to junior claims professionals and external claims service providers.
- Act as the recognised technical authority for Marine Energy claims, delivering expert guidance, thought leadership and technical training to ensure claims teams remain current.
