The Role
They are seeking an experienced Insurance Sales Manager to lead and develop a team of insurance sales professionals. Reporting to the Head of Insurance Sales, you will be responsible for driving sales performance, maintaining high standards of customer service and compliance, and supporting the ongoing growth of the division.
The successful candidate will provide leadership, coaching, and operational oversight to ensure targets are achieved while fostering a culture of accountability, professionalism, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, coach, and develop a team of insurance sales professionals.
- Deliver sales, customer, and quality targets through effective performance management.
- Ensure full compliance with regulatory requirements and customer outcome standards.
- Act as a referral point for technical insurance and placement queries.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with insurers and underwriting partners.
- Use performance data and market insight to identify opportunities for improvement.
- Support the development and execution of sales and placement strategies.
- Foster a high-performing team culture focused on growth, accountability, and customer service.
Candidate Profile
They are looking for an insurance professional who can demonstrate:
- Strong knowledge of commercial insurance products and the wider insurance market.
- Previous experience within an insurance sales or telesales environment.
- A minimum of two years' experience managing or leading a sales team.
- A proven track record of delivering against sales targets.
- Excellent communication, relationship-building, and stakeholder management skills.
- A proactive, resilient, and commercially minded approach.
- Ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, target-driven environment.
- Cert CII qualification and commercial insurance experience would be advantageous.
