Senior Actuary - Portfolio Analytics | London Market
We've partnered with a leading specialty insurer on a Senior Actuary hire into their Portfolio Analytics team.
This is a genuinely broad role with exposure across the Syndicate, working closely with Underwriting, Pricing, Reserving, Capital, Data and senior leadership . The focus is on using actuarial insight, data and technology to improve portfolio performance and support better underwriting decisions.
You'll have the opportunity to lead on cross-class analytics and pricing transformation , develop and embed pricing capabilities, and contribute to the wider analytics strategy and roadmap.
We're looking for:
- FIA qualified (or equivalent)
* Strong Lloyd's/London Market experience
* Pricing experience, ideally with exposure to pricing transformation
* Experience developing pricing models and an understanding of reserving techniques
* Strong commercial and stakeholder management skills
* Python, HX, Power BI or Databricks exposure is advantageous, but not essential
This would suit someone looking for broader exposure than a traditional pricing role , with the opportunity to work across classes, influence underwriting strategy and take ownership of high-profile analytics projects.
