Job Description
HFG are currently partnering with a leading London insurer for their next Syndicate Accountant following natural growth within the company. The role will be responsible for the delivery of accurate, meaningful and timely financial information, both internal and external, for Syndicate, and related companies in accordance with agreed standards and deadlines. This role offers fantastic opportunity to join a highly effective Finance function and obtain a real breadth of experience in a profitable fast-growing environment.
Responsibilities:
- Preparation and/or review of regulatory returns for Lloyd's and entities, including SII
- Responsible for completion of all Balance Sheet and P&L reconciliations for review
- Preparation and/or review of quarterly consolidation reporting to Group.
- Preparation of entity management information for submission to the group team, supported by analysis.
- Preparation and/or review of both monthly and quarterly reconciliations to support the P&L and Balance Sheet for all Lloyd's entities.
Profile:
- Qualified accountant (ACA or ACCA) or qualified by experience
- Experience within the Lloyd's insurance market for 3+ years
- Experience in the completion of Lloyd's regulatory returns
