Job Description

HFG are currently working with an Essex based GI in search for their next Financial Controller. The role will be will playing a pivotal role in the outputs from the Finance department across all financial disciplines. This role involves overseeing all financial aspects, implementing controls, and providing strategic financial guidance to support their overall success following the recent completion of a private equity backed management buyout.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with department heads to develop annual budgets and financial forecasts and monitor budget performance.
  • Oversee month-end close, implementing improvements across processes and controls wherever possible
  • Work closely with the heads of various departments, cooperating to align financial strategies with operational goals.
  • Undertake special financial projects as assigned by the management and provide financial insights to support business initiatives.
  • Lead and inspire a team of three financial professionals, providing guidance, training, and support.
