I am currently recruiting for a leading Lloyd's Syndicate who are seeking a Claims Adjuster to join their growing Marine team. This role will be working closely with the Marine Liability Claims Manager handling complex Liability cases, particularly in the US. A good understanding of ECF and Lloyd's Claims Schemes is required for this role as well as 3/4+ years experience handling Marine Claims.
Key Responsibilities
- Providing feedback to underwriters and management regarding the structure of their claims and associated risk information to enhance the overall underwriting standards within the company.
- Ensuring compliance with Lloyd's minimum standards at all times and supporting underwriters and claims adjusters in their processes.
- Upholding the values of the Syndicate by ensuring fair treatment for all customers.
- Managing all assigned claims in alignment with company policies and service level agreements (SLAs).
- Preparing departmental reports as needed.
- Attending market meetings and conference calls as required.
- Ensuring that all complaint-related issues are documented and resolved in accordance with company policy.
- Assisting internal stakeholders with various ad hoc activities and projects as necessary.
