Vacancy: Underwriter - Property (UK Multinational) London Market Insurer City of London I am currently partnered with a London Market Insurer who are seeking an Underwriter to join their growing UK Property division.
This role will be Underwriting Property related risks, with a focus on UK Multinational business for a range of occupancies.
You will be writing packaged Casualty risks in this role too.
My client is looking for an experienced UK Property or P C/Commercial Combined Underwriter, with strong Broking contacts either in London or regionally, and the desire to write new business.
Key Responsibilities Deliver the underwriting strategy for the Property portfolio, supporting profitable growth in line with business objectives and underwriting appetite.
Underwrite new and renewal business within delegated authority, applying sound technical judgement and strong commercial acumen.
Assess complex risks by reviewing applications, financial information and supporting documentation to determine acceptability in line with underwriting guidelines and standards.
Recommend appropriate pricing, terms, conditions and coverage enhancements based on detailed technical analysis and prevailing market conditions.
