An excellent opportunity for a technically strong Syndicate Accountant to join a growing Lloyd's (re)insurance business. The role sits within the Syndicate Finance team and offers broad exposure across financial reporting, Lloyd's regulatory reporting, audit and finance transformation. You'll work closely with Finance, Underwriting, Treasury and wider stakeholders, playing an important role in maintaining strong financial controls while also contributing to ongoing process improvement and automation initiatives. Key Responsibilities Prepare technical and non-technical journals and balance sheet reconciliations. Support month-end and year-end financial close processes. Prepare Lloyd's regulatory returns, including QAD and SITUS. Liaise with external auditors and manage audit queries. Ensure the accuracy and completeness of financial reporting and data. Identify opportunities to improve processes, automation and financial controls. Support finance transformation projects, including chart of accounts and consolidation initiatives.
