IBA Technician HFG are currently representing an established independent insurance broker looking to recruit an experienced IBA Technician to take ownership of the day-to-day IBA function. This is a hands-on role within a close-knit business and would suit someone who is confident working autonomously, managing insurance broking accounts from end to end and acting as the main point of contact for day-to-day IBA matters. The successful candidate will work closely with senior stakeholders across the business and will have genuine ownership of the function, with support available during the initial handover period. Key responsibilities will include: Managing client and insurer cash allocation Completing insurer statement reconciliations and settlements Performing bank and client money account reconciliations Managing credit control and monitoring outstanding premiums Processing refunds and return premiums Completing commission and brokerage reconciliations Producing Client Money Calculations Supporting month-end processes and reconciliations Investigating and resolving accounting discrepancies Maintaining accurate records across internal systems Liaising with insurers, clients, brokers and senior stakeholders to resolve account queries Producing...
