New Vacancy - Underwriter - UK Property Insurer City of London I am currently partnered with a leading London Market Insurer who are seeking a Property Underwriter to join their growing team.
You will be Underwriting new and existing Property risks across the UK from a London Market view, on a direct and facultative basis.
The successful candidate will have 6+ years market experience, and either be a experienced AU, or current Underwriter looking for a new challenge.
Experience across UK Property, Real Estate and Property Owners is required.
Key Responsibilities Deliver the underwriting strategy for the Property portfolio, supporting profitable growth in line with business objectives and underwriting appetite.
Underwrite new and renewal business within delegated authority, applying sound technical judgement and strong commercial acumen.
Assess complex risks by reviewing applications, financial information and supporting documentation to determine acceptability in line with underwriting guidelines and standards.
Recommend appropriate pricing, terms, conditions and coverage enhancements based on detailed technical analysis and prevailing market conditions.
