Established in 1949, our client provides excellence in technical panel fabrication with bespoke manufacturing of decorative panels across HPL, SGL and melamine surfaces, and have long-term trusted partnerships with leading laminate suppliers. They believe in continuous improvement to ensure they deliver a first-class service to their customers through investment in the latest operational machinery and processes.
They are now recruiting for a Commercial Team Administrator as they continue to expand and evolve business activities, with the opportunity for the successful applicant to grow professionally alongside the business. Reporting to the Commercial Office Manager, this role will provide the administrative support and service necessary to maximise all sales opportunities in meeting the company’s projections.
Duties include:
- Raising orders from start to finish including Order pack/Documentation for production planning and manufacturing.
- Appropriating materials to satisfy Sales Orders within the cost parameters allowed.
- Supporting the commercial team in managing customer estimates.
- Acquiring a practical skill that enables you to be creative in understanding the influences of specifications, cost and fitness for purpose.
- Recognising that all customers' orders are bespoke, such that accuracy and attention to detail are paramount.
- Expediting the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
- Understanding and complying with the requirements of the company’s procedures of our Management System 9001.
- Working closely with all departments with the understanding that all are dependent on each other.
- Keeping abreast of product applications, technical services, market conditions, competitive activities and promotional trends.
- Networking with our supply chain to benefit our commercial success.
- Communicating at all levels and having an empathetic view of client expectations.
- Working closely with colleagues and suppliers to obtain the best outcome for our customers.
- Undertaking any reasonable duties that may be required from time-to-time by the Company.

This is a full-time permanent role, normal working hours are Mondays to Thursdays 9am to 5:30pm and Fridays 9am to 5pm with an unpaid hour for lunch each day.
