High Close is a successful special school catering for pupils with a complex range of needs including ASD, SEMH and ADHD. We are seeking to appoint enthusiastic and suitably qualified individuals to provide support to the growing number of young people in our thriving School.
We are looking for an experienced administrator who is confident to work with professionals inside the school, with teams across Barnardo\’s and with external contacts to ensure the school runs effectively. There would be particular responsibility for a substantial budget, have administrative oversight of Health and Safety and lead the Maintenance and Domestic Teams in the school.
We are looking for a person who can use initiative and work independently, be firm but fair and build strong working relationships. Candidates need a calm disposition, willingness to listen and the ability to be assertive when the situation demands it. Excellent record keeping is essential to be able to make and communicate evidence based decisions in a fast moving workplace
The post is a fixed term, full time post, but for the right candidate we will be willing to discuss working hours and patterns
