At Higgs, we are growing our Court of Protection team and are looking for an Associate or Senior Associate depending on your level of experience, to work on interesting, meaningful work supporting vulnerable clients and their families. Whether you are a newly qualified solicitor with a passion for Court of Protection or an experienced Private client lawyer that now wants to focus on this area of work, we are keen to hear from you.

The Role

  • You’ll manage a varied caseload including:
    • Property & financial affairs and (where relevant) health & welfare matters
    • Deputyship applications, contested matters, and statutory wills
    • Ongoing administration of deputyships and reporting
  • You will work closely with deputies, attorneys, trustees, and families, providing clear, compassionate advice.
  • Build strong relationships with clients and professionals
  • Mentor and support junior team members
  • Contribute to business development and team growth
  • Deliver excellent client care and uphold compliance standards
