Higgins Coatings is Australia's premier commercial painting contractor, providing complete painting maintenance service and solutions to a broad range of industries. Due to growth we are seeking an experienced Foreperson Painter to join our Tamworth team. There will be regular travel throughout the New England region.
The Role
- This is a full time permanent role.
- You will be on the tools and required to:
- Work closely with the Project Manager to develop a clear understanding of each project and deliver projects on-time, within scope, within budget, safely.
- Coordinate employees and equipment/materials.
- Supervise employees and apprentices.
- Ensure work is completed safely – e.g. conduct toolbox talks, update risk assessment and ensure correct PPE is worn.
What You Need To Succeed
- Trade qualified painter with Commercial painting experience.
- EWP licenses are desirable.
- Experience in managing small painting teams.
- A strong focus on safety, including using online safety systems.

- $37 per hour, plus supervisor allowance, a daily travel allowance, plus super, paid weekly.
