Higgins Coatings is Australia’s premier commercial painting contractor in providing a complete painting maintenance service and solutions to a broad range of industries. Due to continued growth and commencement of new projects, we are looking for hardworking and driven Apprentice Painters to join our Tamworth team. This is a fantastic opportunity for 1st, 2nd or 3rd year Apprentice Painters.
At Higgins, we are passionate about career progression and invest heavily in developing our people. Starting a career in painting opens the door to many opportunities; many of our employees commenced as Painters, only to progress to Estimating roles, Sales, Operations and even Management.
We work on various commercial painting projects such as high rise buildings, schools, retirement villages and more, you will learn all facets of painting on different project sites.
Skills And Experience
- Completing a Certificate 3 in Painting and Decorating, or have a keen interest to commence the course
- Be driven to succeed and demonstrate a willingness to learn
- A motivated and enthusiastic approach to learning
- Value teamwork, be curious and inquisitive to ask questions
- Be able to follow direction with excellent attention to detail
- The ability to listen, take on feedback and understand customer requirements
