We’re looking for a Production Scheduler who loves bringing order, calm and great teamwork to our bustling bakery. You’ll help shape each day’s plan, working closely with our brilliant people across Production, Supply Chain and beyond to make sure everything runs smoothly. From new launches to seasonal peaks, you’ll play a big part in helping us make delicious food with as little waste as possible.
What you will be DOING?
- Daily planning of Production using MRP system
- Support the business with key KPI’s driven by Planning – Service and Finished Goods Waste
- Working with Production daily to understand constraints that may affect the plan
- Support the NPD process for planning in trials and launches
- Manage delisting products to ensure minimal waste and impact to Production during the phase out stage
- Ensure forecasts are updated in the system to aid Procurement
- Monitor and flag any significant volume changes based on CF to the wider business
- Support daily meetings
- Produce daily reports to support the business
- Liaise with customers over upcoming Promotional activity, seasonal ordering variations such as Easter or volume changes as examples
- Work with Logistics to support decisions around daily outloads and what is required from the schedule for that day’s deliveries as required
- Support the Supply Chain Manager with information around volumes and future planning as required
- Support your other team members with projects and workload as it is required
What SKILLS do you need to have?
- Experience in a fresh FMCG environment would be beneficial
- Use of ERP/MRP systems would be advantageous
- Experience of short dated stock management and planning end to manufacturing in a food environment
- Able to work as part of a team as well as autonomously on their own
- Assertive, optimistic, resilient and welcomes change
- Engages interest and participation of others
- Proactively contributes to the team
- Is self-aware and has a collaborative approach to working with others
- Self-motivated and able to work under pressure
- Good knowledge of MS office suite
- Good level of oral and verbal communication skills
