At Higgidy there is a wide range of IT and Systems used by various departments when working in the office, remotely and in production areas. We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly, helpful and effective IT support analyst to be part of the team to support the business and staff when using IT and Systems.
What will you be DOING?
- Providing 1st and 2nd line support for Windows desktop and server operating systems, AD, MS Office 365 including Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Sharepoint & Teams
- Administration and support of Systems used at Higgidy, the group and departments.
- Liaising with and utilising 3rd party support providers to resolve issues (not only with supported applications)
- Providing IT support from a software and hardware perspective, both in the office, remote and in production areas requiring PPE.
- Setting up A/V required for huddles, on-site and remote meetings, presentations & training sessions
- Deployment of hardware (monitors, docking stations, laptops/desktops, keyboards, mice, printers etc) including managing hardware allocated to employees.
- Managing support requests via ticketing system
- Providing Out of Office support as and when required
What SKILLS do you need to have?
- Microsoft Office including Office 365 environment and applications e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint
- Microsoft Windows, both desktop (e.g. 10 & 11) and server (e.g. 2016, 2019) versions
- Dealing with computer hardware, such as laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, printers and associated peripherals
- Mobile device experience (mobile phones, Apple/android and windows mobile, ipad & other tablet devices)
- Networking experience; cabling, switches, wifi, DNS, DHCP, domains
- Experience of Server/Comms environments
- ERP (Access) and MES (Mestec) experience useful
- Experience of working in Manufacturing, 24/7 environments
- User & License administration
- A/V experience (video conferencing equipment such as TVs, web cams & microphones, MS Teams and other video conference software)
