Why is this role IMPORTANT to us? At Higgidy there is a wide range of IT and Systems used by various departments when working in the office, remotely and in production areas. We have an exciting opportunity for a friendly, helpful and effective systems analyst to be part of the team to support the business and staff when using IT and Systems.
What will you be DOING?
- Delivering 1st and 2nd line support across Windows desktop/server OS, Active Directory, and the Microsoft 365 ecosystem (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, Teams).
- Administering and supporting systems used across Higgidy, our departments and group.
- Working with third-party providers to resolve issues across a wide range of applications and equipment.
- Microsoft SQL server administration – e.g. database backups, linked servers, views, stored procedures, triggers & jobs.
- Support existing Excel-based systems that interface with MSSQL data sources, use formula & pivot tables.
- Deployment of hardware (monitors, docking stations, laptops/desktops, keyboards, mice, printers etc) including managing hardware allocated to employees.
- Providing Out of Hours support as and when required to keep critical business systems functioning.
What SKILLS do you need to have?
- Microsoft Office including Office 365 environment and applications e.g. Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, Sharepoint.
- Microsoft Forms and Power Platform (primarily Power Automate).
- Database Administration – Microsoft SQL server.
- Dealing with computer hardware, e.g. laptops, desktops, docking stations, monitors, printers and associated peripherals.
- Mobile device experience (mobile phones, Apple/android and windows mobile, ipad & other tablet devices).
- Networking experience; cabling, switches, wifi, DNS, DHCP, domains.
- Experience of Server/Comms environments.
- ERP (Access Supply Chain), MES (Mestec) & EDI experience useful.
- User & License administration including Multi Factor Authentication.
- A/V experience (video conferencing equipment such as TVs, web cams & microphones, MS Teams and other video conference software).
