HiFyve is hiring a Service Technician (Shop & Field) in the heavy equipment industry in Kent, WA!

Salary: $35–$45/hr

Shift: Monday to Friday

Location: On-site (Kent, WA)

Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment
  • Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and structural components
  • Complete both shop and field service work assignments
  • Maintain accurate service records, repair orders, and time tracking
  • Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and manufacturers
  • Follow all safety procedures and company compliance standards
  • Attend manufacturer and company-sponsored training sessions
  • Utilize diagnostic tools and basic computer systems for troubleshooting

Education Requirements:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Technical or vocational training in heavy equipment or diesel mechanics preferred

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Experience repairing construction or heavy equipment and attachments
  • Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel systems, and electrical systems
  • Welding and structural repair skills preferred
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Basic computer skills for diagnostics and reporting
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
  • Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
  • Own set of tools required
