HiFyve is hiring a Service Technician (Shop & Field) in the heavy equipment industry in Kent, WA!
Salary: $35–$45/hr
Shift: Monday to Friday
Location: On-site (Kent, WA)
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Diagnose mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical issues on heavy equipment
- Perform repairs on diesel engines, transmissions, and structural components
- Complete both shop and field service work assignments
- Maintain accurate service records, repair orders, and time tracking
- Communicate effectively with customers, team members, and manufacturers
- Follow all safety procedures and company compliance standards
- Attend manufacturer and company-sponsored training sessions
- Utilize diagnostic tools and basic computer systems for troubleshooting
Education Requirements:
- High school diploma or GED required
- Technical or vocational training in heavy equipment or diesel mechanics preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:
- Experience repairing construction or heavy equipment and attachments
- Strong knowledge of hydraulics, diesel systems, and electrical systems
- Welding and structural repair skills preferred
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
- Basic computer skills for diagnostics and reporting
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks
- Valid driver’s license with clean driving record
- Own set of tools required
