Are you an experienced automotive sales professional with a passion for performance, strong leadership skills, and a keen eye for retail opportunity? We are looking for a Used Car Sales Controller to join our dynamic dealership team and drive the success of our used car sales.
About the Role
As our Used Car Sales Controller, you will play a key role in managing the day-to-day performance of the used car department. You’ll support the sales team, ensure outstanding customer service, and maximise profitability across all used vehicle sales channels.
Key Responsibilities
- Selling New & Used vehicles to obtain commission
- Drive used car sales performance to meet and exceed targets
- Support, coach, and motivate the sales team to deliver an exceptional customer experience
- Manage pricing, stock presentation, and online listings to ensure maximum visibility
- Oversee part-exchange valuations and ensure accurate appraisals
- Monitor enquiries and lead management, ensuring timely follow-up
- Work closely with the Head of Business to deliver departmental objectives
About You
- Proven experience in automotive sales—ideally in a controller, senior executive, or management role
- Strong coaching and leadership abilities
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- High level of organisation and attention to detail
- A customer-first mindset with the ability to drive results
- Full UK driving licence

Hours of Work:
- Monday - Friday 08:30 - 17:30 with a 1 hour unpaid lunch break
- Saturdays 08:30 - 17:00 with a day off in lieu
- Sundays 10:00 - 16:00 on a 1 in 3 rota basis
