The Role

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated Spa Assistant Front Office Manager to join our front‑of‑house team on a maternity cover contract for approximately 9–12 months. In this pivotal role, you’ll support the Spa Front Office Manager in overseeing the daily running of the reception and reservations areas, ensuring every guest enjoys a seamless and memorable experience. You’ll also assist in the hotel’s main reception as and when required, maintaining the same high level of professionalism and guest‑care across all front‑of‑house operations.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead, motivate, and support the spa reception and reservations teams.
  • Oversee daily operations to ensure a smooth and efficient guest journey.
  • Handle guest enquiries, bookings, and payments with professionalism and care.
  • Collaborate with other departments to deliver a seamless guest experience.
  • Assist in the hotel’s main reception as required, supporting guest check‑in and check‑out.
  • Support staff scheduling, training, and performance development.
  • Maintain high standards of presentation, service, and compliance at all times.

About You

  • Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a spa, hotel, or luxury leisure environment.
  • Strong leadership and communication skills with a passion for exceptional service.
  • Organised, calm under pressure, and detail‑oriented.
  • Confident in using booking and CRM systems (e.g., Premier Spa, Book4Time, or similar).
  • Professional, approachable, and driven to exceed guest expectations.

Shift Patterns

40 hours per week, 5 days out of 7 per week. Note: Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and when necessary to meet the needs of the team and the business, including weekends and bank holidays.
