The Role:
We are seeking apassionate and dynamic Wine Waiter to join our dedicated Food & Beverageteam. This role is perfect for a wine enthusiast looking to advance theircareer in the hospitality industry. You'll work closely with our SeniorManagement to manage our wine selection, enhance our wine service, andcontribute to our award-winning dining experiences .
Your skills and expertise:
- Assisting in the selection,acquisition, and storage of wines, ensuring our cellar reflects both classicand contemporary choices
- Providing expert advice andrecommendations to guests, enhancing their dining experience with tailored winepairings
- Conducting wine tastings andeducational sessions for both guests and staff
- Working alongside the Food& Beverage team to ensure seamless service and promote an understanding ofour wine offerings
- Upselling and promoting featured wines, special vintages, andwine-related events
- Having a foundation levelqualification from a recognised wine education body (e.g., WSET Level 2) ispreferred but not essential
- Having previous experience in asimilar role or a strong passion for wine and a desire to develop a career in wineservices
- Have excellent communicationand interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage guests and colleaguesalike.
Shift Patterns:
- Full-Time - 37.5 hours per week
- 5 days out of 7
- Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
