The Role
AtHoar Cross Hall, we pride ourselves on providing incredible service and amemorable experience for every single guest. We are seeking a dynamic andmotivated Assistant Bar Manager to join our award-winning team and contributeto our continued success.
As the Assistant Bars Manager, youwill play a key role in supporting the Bars Manager in the day-to-dayoperations of our bars. You will ensure that our guests receive outstandingservice, maintain the highest quality standards, and help create a positivework environment for our team. Your leadership skills and passion for the hospitalityindustry will be crucial in maintaining our reputation and achieving ourbusiness goals.
Yourresponsibilities
- Supporting the Bars Manager in managing daily baroperations, including inventory management, staff scheduling, and ensuringcompliance with health and safety regulations
- Ensuring excellent customer service by supervisingthe bar staff, addressing customer complaints, and stepping in to assist duringbusy periods
- Monitoring and manage stock levels, order supplies,and reduce wastage to maintain cost efficiency.
- Assisting in training, mentoring, and developing barstaff
- Compliance and safety checks
Personal Specification
- Previousexperience in a supervisory role within the bar or hospitality industry
- Have excellentknowledge of operations, including cocktail making, beer, and wine service
- Have excellent leadership and communication skills
- Have the ability to work in a fast-pacedenvironment
- Have excellent organisational skills andattention to detail
- Have previous experience with large volumecovers
- Have previous Food Safety Training
- Have knowledge of health and safetyregulations related to food and beverage service
Additional Information
- Full-time contract
- Working 5 out of 7 days aweek - 40hrs per week
- Full flexibility is key as you will be expected to work as and whennecessary to meet the needs of the team and the business such as workingevenings, weekends, and Bank Holidays
- Hold the relevant Right to Work in theUK, not requiring future sponsorship
