What we want to achieve and who we are looking for

Our strategic goal is to double PACS over 5 years through a combination of organic and acquisitive growth. This role is to work with PACS Leadership to align on strategies to achieve this goal.

Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

Sales Operations Management:

  • Streamline sales processes, optimize CRM usage, and improve pipeline management.
  • Drive dashboards and KPIs covering revenue, pipeline health, and team performance.
  • Provide actionable insights by analyzing sales, customer behavior, and market trends.
  • Drive accurate sales forecasting to maximize productivity and revenue.

Commercial Team Efficiency:

  • Lead onboarding, training, and enabling programs to boost commercial team skills.
  • Lead training initiatives to ensure tools are effectively utilized across teams.
  • Work with BU leaders to design cross-BU & BA sales incentive programs that align with HID and PACS objectives.

Technology & Tools Management:

  • Own and optimize the commercial tech stack, including CRM and other sales tools.
  • Leverage new technologies like AI to improve sales productivity.

Pricing Management:

  • Manage discount governance and SQ operations to maintain pricing discipline.
  • Develop pricing strategies balancing revenue growth with margin preservation.
  • Conduct competitive pricing benchmarking to drive pricing adjustments.

Customer Experience Oversight:

  • Lead Net Promoter Score (NPS) initiatives and other means of collecting and analyzing customer feedback.
  • Collaborate across functions to improve customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

  • Design and implement initiatives to enhance collaboration between BUs, BAs, and AA.
  • Foster alignment and synergy across PACS commercial operations and related teams.

M&A Acceleration:

  • Scan the market and industry to acquire market intelligence that will allow us to achieve and maintain leadership in PACS-related product and process innovation.
  • Support the Business Unit / Business Areas to monitor for M&A opportunities and maintain a pipeline of candidates. Examples of candidates could be:
  • Geographic expansion acquisitions of similar companies in the reader, controller, or credential space with high market shares in countries complementary to our existing business.
  • Adjacent companies operating in related industries with key synergies to PACS in terms of customers, vertical markets, technologies, brand, or market access.
  • Identify and build relationships with potential acquisition targets to generate deal flow.
  • Ensure deals align strategically with PACS goals and communicate deal rationales.
  • Partner with HID management on post-merger integration planning and execution.
  • Act as the primary liaison with legal teams to optimize collaboration and compliance.
  • Identify commercial risks and propose mitigation strategies to protect PACS.
  • Assist in the pre-due diligence liaison and evaluation of potential M&A candidates and define the business case.
  • Oversee the end-to-end process from approval through to mobilizing and steering the HID Corporate Development M&A team through the due diligence period.

Strategy

  • Maintain and evolve the five-year strategy.
  • Own the process of aligning PACS on a five-year strategy in alignment with the HID five-year strategy.
  • Work with the BUs/BAs head to define and track how PACS will achieve its organic and acquisitive growth targets.
  • Track key initiatives and work with BU leaders to track implementation and evolution of key initiatives.
  • Provide PACS with ongoing market intelligence with key activities of partners and competitors.
  • Provide communications support for employee meetings, Business Area Reviews, and Board Meetings.
  • Coordinate with the PACS Business Units and Functions on the implementation of the strategy roadmap and support the creation of budget plans with a clear focus on organic growth.
  • Identify areas of cooperation and suggest areas where additional investment or focus may be needed to support the realization of the PACS/BU strategy.
  • Build expertise to become an industry thought leader in PACS-related trends and strategies.
  • Assist the PACS SVP in thought leadership pieces for industry events and represent HID in public forums such as SIA events and conferences.
  • Provide communications support for employee meetings, Business Area Reviews, and Board Meetings.

Qualifications

Education and/or Experience:

  • Hold a BA or BS in a related field. Candidates with equivalent education plus relevant work experience may also be considered.
  • Minimum of 5+ years related experience and/or experience in consultancy in the strategy/M&A area.
  • Understanding of market and competitive environment including deal activity and potential opportunities.
  • Proven leadership experience, including strategic thinking, innovation, scaling, and collaboration to drive commercial excellence.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to effectively communicate in the English language both verbally and in writing. Additional languages would be a plus.
  • Must have the ability to write articles, create presentations, etc., and be able to effectively present them to various customer and stakeholder audiences.

Computer Skills:

  • Proficient in MS Office applications, such as Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Familiar with current operating systems, such as Windows, etc.
  • Knowledge of Teams, or other web-based video communications software beneficial.

Work Requirements:

  • Compliance with all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
  • Travel and fieldwork, including domestic and international travel required. Therefore, the employee must possess or be able to acquire a valid passport.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
