The qualified candidate supports Physical Access Control Solutions (PACS) Business Area by validating the successful integration and performance of Physical Access end to end systems comprising of, but not limited to; HID Global powers the trusted identities of the world’s people, places, and things, allowing people to transact safely, work productively and travel freely.
We are a high-tech software company headquartered in Austin, TX, with over 4,000 worldwide employees. The PACS products include smart cards, mobile access and identifications, software, services and controllers for physical access control.

As our Systems QA Engineer, you will support HID’s success by:
Integrates all aspects of HIDs PACS Portfolio and reports on system/solution performance, stability, and user experience.
Researches, plans, formulates, and executes activities in the development of Test plans and Test runs which validate Systems/Solution level performance and key Non-Functional Requirements.
Runs Baseline exercises as required to gather baseline data.
Analyses test data to determine if the solution meets functional and performance specifications.
Generates Test Reports and/or other data required by Engineering / Program Teams
Attends regular Pulse meetings and reports on Test Planning, Scope and Test status.
The ability to drive continuous product/solution quality based on real-world experiences and practices is paramount.
Working knowledge of networking, switches, routers etc.
Agile Mindset
Familar with operating systems, such as windows, android and IOS

This position would ideally suit an Access Control or L3 Technical Support Engineer with extensive experience in scoping, installing, configuring, and supporting all aspects of Physical Access Control Systems under real world conditions.
