A developer role, working in a Biometrics dedicated software team. You are expected to be hands-on and spend a significant amount of your time writing code and implementing features/stories defined by the Product Owner.
As a contributor within the Biometrics team, you’ll be responsible for implementing features in a timely fashion, seamlessly integrating with the overall solution offered to our customers.
The integration engineer will mainly work on integrating an RTOS-based RFID reader with a Linux system, requiring experience in cryptography to ensure secure communication between devices.
The candidate should be proactive in learning industry best practices and trends.

Role Responsibilities:
- Design and implement embedded firmware and test solutions primarily in C and C#
- Design and implement cryptographic solutions
- Create design documentation
- Work hands-on with embedded systems, debugging and maintaining them
- Collaborate effectively within a team environment
- Break down complex scenarios into manageable sub-tasks and complete them efficiently
- Communicate technical decisions through documentation and white papers
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams like Product, Design, Analytics
- Identify and communicate issues early to help course-correct
Preferred Background:
- Experience in maintaining and creating designs for mid-sized projects
- Problem-solving skills for complex issues
- Proficiency in embedded programming in C & C#
- Familiarity with communication protocols such as MQTT and gRPC
- Experience with low-level hardware interfaces (GPIO, UART)
- Proficiency with software version control
- Experience with TDD and unit testing
- Understanding of CI/CD processes
- Knowledge of SSDL issues
- Experience implementing cryptographic solutions including symmetric and PKI asymmetric encryption
Minimum Qualifications:
- Engineering degree or equivalent experience
- At least 5 years of industry experience
