In this rewarding role, you will ensure the highest quality of service delivery while inspiring and supporting your team to deliver outstanding, person-centred care. Pay & Hours:
£15.19 per hour, 38.5 hours per week (Nights), working on a rota covering 7 days per week (alternative weekends).
The Role:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced individual to lead and support our care team, ensuring the highest standards of person-centred care for our residents.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise staff during shifts, ensuring smooth day-to-day operations.
- Act as the main point of contact in the absence of management, including liaising with professionals and regulatory bodies.
- Support with audits, quality checks, and maintaining accurate records.
- Oversee and contribute to the development and review of personalised care plans.
- Promote dignity, respect, and well-being for all residents.
- Administer medication safely and manage related documentation.
- Handle challenging behaviour with empathy and professionalism.
- Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and colleagues.
About you:
- Strong leadership and communication skills.
- Experience in a care setting, ideally with dementia care.
- Confident in managing medication and care documentation.

HICA is a 'Not for Profit' organisation providing a range of care services to older people and individuals with learning difficulties, both within residential and nursing homes and in the community. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
