HICA is looking for an experienced and proactive People Advisor to join our established HR team and play a key role in supporting our services across Yorkshire and Lincolnshire.

Pay & Hours 37 hours per week Up to £36,000 per annum (depending on experience) Monday to Friday Office based with occasional travel to visit services (valid UK driving licence is essential) About the Role You will provide professional HR advice and support across a diverse range of people matters, including: Managing employee relations cases, including disciplinary, grievance, capability, absence and performance matters.
Coaching and supporting managers to build confidence and capability in people management.
Providing advice on employment legislation, HR policies and best practice.
Supporting recruitment campaigns and onboarding activity across a range of services.
Identifying trends and root causes of recurring people issues and supporting solutions.
Contributing to HR projects, organisational change initiatives and service improvements.
Supporting policy development and continuous improvement of HR processes.

About You We are looking for someone who: Has experience in an HR Advisor, HR Officer or similar generalist HR role.
Is confident handling complex casework.
Understands UK employment law.
Builds effective working relationship.
Has excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Is organised, proactive and solutions focused.
Enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where no two days are the same.
CIPD qualification or working towards qualification would be advantageous, but relevant experience and capability are equally important.
