Join HICA as a Community Care Supervisor and help shape the future of homecare in your community. This is an exciting opportunity to take on a leadership role within our Homecare team, supporting service users to live independently while mentoring and guiding care staff to deliver exceptional care.
As a Community Care Supervisor, you will:
- Undertake risk assessments and develop person-centred care plans.
- Review and monitor care delivery to ensure quality and compliance.
- Supervise and mentor field-based care teams, including conducting medication assessments and practical observations.
- Liaise with service users, families, and professionals to maintain high standards of care.
- Step in to cover care calls when required to ensure continuity of service.
This role is pivotal in promoting independence and empowering service users to make informed decisions about their care.
Requirements:
- At least one year's experience in a care and support setting.
- Full UK driving licence and access to a reliable vehicle.
- Willingness to work on a rota basis, including on-call duties.
- Level 3 Diploma in Care, supervisory experience, and knowledge of risk assessment and medication management.
Shifts: Shift pattern will be discussed at interview.

We currently deliver approximately 2800 hours of community-based care per week in our geographical areas. These are Fiveways, Cleethorpes, Humberston and New Waltham, covering all aspects of personal care, medication administration, shopping, domestic and sitter service.
We are a not-for-profit organisation, providing care services to older people and individuals with learning disabilities across residential, nursing, and community settings.
