Hull Homecare is looking for an office-based Deputy Manager to join the team. As the Deputy Manager, you will provide leadership and support of the service in line with legislative and company requirements. You will also quality service delivery to meet the individual needs of service users through robust planning and reviewing of services.
Pay & Hours
37.5 hours per week (inclusive of 30-minute unpaid break each day) Monday to Friday - supporting with on call alternative weekends £28,683 per annum

The role
Aspects of the role include but are not limited to:
- Work with the Manager to ensure care and support delivered remains at the required legislative and company standard.
- Take a lead role in the recruitment and selection of competent people whose experience, skills and personality are right for the job.
- Manage the service in accordance with HICA at Home policies and procedures, and all relevant legislation to ensure all standards are met.
- Maintaining accurate electronic and written records in line with HICA Policy and the Data Protection Act.
- Timely production of reports and management information.
About you
We are looking for a dedicated individual with the following attributes:
- Full valid UK driving licence
- Level 3 Diploma in Care or equivalent qualification
- Previous experience of supervising in a domiciliary/extra care setting
- Experience of developing, recording and monitoring of Care and support plans
- Ability to lead, motivate and supervise staff, adopting appropriate management styles
- A qualification in Medication management/handling is advantageous but not essential.
