Pay & Hours:
- £13.33 per week
- 30 Hours per week
- Shift Pattern: Working to a rota covering 7 days per week (some flexibility may be required depending on events).
The Role:
As a wellbeing practitioner, you will organise and plan weekly activities tailored to meet the individual needs of our service users, promoting independence and making each day as fulfilling as possible. Examples could include seasonal activities such as painting an Easter egg, designing a Christmas card, arts and crafts, music & movement, gardening, and attractions outside of the home in the local community. The role does include some care responsibilities.
About you:
- Excellent knowledge of Customer Care
- Excellent knowledge of confidentiality and its meaning
- Previous experience working with individuals with vulnerable adults would be advantageous
- Previous experience planning and implementing activities or events
- Can work within a budget
- Ability to keep accurate and detailed records
- Able to work unsupervised and to use your own initiative

Our welcoming, two-storey residence is designed for comfort and accessibility, featuring a lift for easy access to the first floor. At Albemarle, we prioritise social engagement and relaxation, offering three inviting lounges perfect for entertaining and connecting with others. Our beautiful enclosed gardens include a greenhouse and vegetable planters, providing residents with opportunities to enjoy nature and engage in gardening activities. HICA Group are a Not for Profit organisation providing a range of care services to older people and people with learning difficulties both within residential and nursing homes and within the community.
The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check.
