Be everyone's champion this Summer by scoring a new role with HICA! We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Food Service Assistant to join our dedicated team at The Hollies in Hessle. Pay & Hours:
- £13.70 per hour
- 9.5 Hours a week
- Shift pattern - working to a rota to be discussed at interview - some weekend work available.
The Role:
- You will prepare and serve food and drinks to our Service Users.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area is up to the highest standard.
- Be aware of specific needs and preferences from our Service Users.
- Keep cleaning products safely stored as well as ordering cleaning products for the kitchen.
- Use a person-centred approach towards our Service Users during meal times.
About you:
- Working towards or holds a relevant NVQ Basic Food Hygiene qualification.
- Previous experience of working in a Kitchen environment.
- Excellent knowledge of individual dietary needs.
- A good understanding of those with challenging behaviours.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
