As a chef, enjoy a day shift pattern that ensures a balanced work-life schedule, allowing you to excel in your culinary career while cherishing time at home.

The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check. HICA does not offer sponsorship to Non-UK Nationals.

Pay and Hours:

  • £14.01 an hour
  • 23.5 hours per week
  • Working on a 7 day rota with alternate weekends

The Role:

  • Prepare and serve food and drinks to our Service Users.
  • Be aware of specific needs and preferences from our Service Users.
  • Keep cleaning products safely stored as well as order cleaning products for the kitchen.
  • Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area is up to the highest standard.
  • Use a person-centred approach towards our Service Users during meal times.

Who We Are Looking For:

  • Holds a relevant qualification for this role (or equivalent).
  • Previous experience working in a kitchen environment.
  • Excellent knowledge of individual dietary needs.
  • A good understanding of those with challenging behaviours.
  • Good communication and organisational skills.

Cranwell Court is a modern care home featuring 58 beds, thoughtfully divided into a 17-bed enhanced dementia unit and a 41-bed residential development. Located on Cambridge Road in Grimsby and set within its own beautifully landscaped grounds, Cranwell Court offers a range of spacious, self-contained apartments equipped with kitchen and bathroom facilities, giving residents the comfort of their own front door and private space.
