- 24 hours per week
- Shift patterns to be discussed at interview
- Includes some weekend working
About the Role: As a Team Leader, you'll help ensure the safe, effective delivery of homecare services and act as a key point of contact for service users, families, staff, and healthcare professionals. You'll support the day-to-day running of the service, help coordinate care delivery, and provide guidance and support to community-based care staff.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a first point of contact for enquiries, incidents, and emergencies
- Support the effective day-to-day delivery of care services
- Monitor electronic call systems to ensure visits are delivered as planned
- Support and guide care staff working in the community
- Manage incoming calls and resolve issues promptly
- Identify and report safeguarding concerns and incidents appropriately
- Maintain accurate records and use IT systems effectively
- Coordinate staff absence and arrange cover where required
- Undertake care visits when necessary
- Ensure effective communication and shift handovers
- Promote dignity, respect, professionalism, and confidentiality at all times
- Follow policies, procedures, and training requirements
