We're looking for experienced and compassionate carers to join us as Mobile Support Workers, supporting residents both within Buckshaw Retirement Village-nestled between Leyland and Chorley-and out in the local community. If you're passionate about delivering high-quality, person-centred care wherever it's needed, we'd love to hear from you.

Pay & Hours:
- Β£13.51 per hour
- Day & Night shifts available
- 11 hour shifts
- 33 hours per week
- Working on a rota covering 7 days per week (weekend availability required)
- Regular contracted hours to work support a healthy work/life balance
- Paid mileage at 24p per mile when attending calls within the community

The Role:
This is an ideal opportunity to meet different people, experience different communities and support needs, and receive an excellent training package. As a member of our Mobile Support Worker network, you will work across the Buckshaw Retirement village covering shifts with the Chorley Home Care team at our independent and assisted living accommodation as well as working across the communities within The Lodge Care Home. There will be a requirement for a Mobile Support Worker to work within the local community, helping and supporting our clients with daily tasks, such as personal care, assisting meal times, shopping calls, to help maintain a level of independence within their home.

Additional Information:
The Retirement Village provides a unique approach by combining beautiful, purpose-built accommodation with a dynamic and lively activity and wellbeing programme alongside access to 24-hour care and support. The village is home to our on-site bistro and bar, hairdressing salon, village shop and wellbeing suite. The Chorley Home Care team are available for additional care and support as required by residents of our independent and assisted living accommodation. The HICA Group is a 'Not for Profit' organisation providing a range of care services to elderly clients and people with learning difficulties, across a range of services, including our care homes, residential settings and in the community.
Please note that successful candidates will be required to undertake an enhanced DBS check.
