We are looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Casual Kitchen Assistant to join our dedicated team at Overton House, our residential care home in Cottingham. Pay & Hours:
- £13.70 per hour
- Casual Days Shift pattern will be discussed at interview
The Role:
- You will prepare and serve food and drinks to our Service Users.
- Ensure the cleanliness of the kitchen area is up to the highest standard.
- Be aware of specific needs and preferences from our Service Users.
- Keeping cleaning products safely stored as well as ordering cleaning products for the kitchen.
- Using a person-centred approach towards our Service Users during meal times.
About you:
- Working towards or holds a relevant NVQ Basic Food Hygiene qualification.
- Previous experience of working in a Kitchen environment.
- Excellent knowledge of individual dietary needs.
- A good understanding of those with challenging behaviours.
- Good communication and organisational skills.
