The Role
As a Wellbeing Practitioner you will organise and plan weekly activities tailored to meet the individual needs of our service users, promoting independence and making each day as fulfilling as possible. Example activities include seasonal projects such as painting Easter eggs, designing Christmas cards, arts and crafts, music & movement, gardening and attractions outside the home in the local community.
About you
- Previous experience working with vulnerable adults with Dementia would be advantageous
- Can work within a budget
- Previous experience planning and implementing activities or events
- Excellent knowledge of Customer Care
- Ability to keep accurate and detailed records
- Able to work unsupervised and to use your own initiative
- Excellent knowledge of confidentiality and its meaning

Additional Information
Hampden House is a 66-bed purpose-built nursing home located within the prestigious Duchy Estate. The home provides the highest level of facilities and services from personal and nursing care, short-stays and end-of-life care. The HICA Group are a βNot for Profitβ organisation providing a range of care services to older people and people with learning difficulties both within residential and nursing homes and within the community. The successful candidate will be required to undertake an Enhanced DBS check. HICA do not offer sponsorship to Non-UK Nationals.
