As a Care Assistant you will assist with mealtimes, personal care, and activities, while also going above and beyond to understand each person holistically.
About the role
The Hollies Care Centre, a newly renovated 44-bed specialist dementia care home located in Hessle, is looking for a Care Support Worker to join the friendly team. The company is unable to sponsor the employment of international workers in this role. You will be required to provide evidence of your right to work in the UK.
Responsibilities
- Care for residents with complex needs and enable them to live the life they choose.
- Assist with mealtimes, personal care, and activities; work with the team to provide holistic, person-centred support.
- Maintain accurate records, communicate effectively, and contribute to a collaborative team environment.
- Participate in training and development provided by the organisation to support your role.
Requirements
- Enhanced DBS check is required for successful candidates.
- Right to work in the UK must be evidenced; the role does not offer sponsorship for international workers.
- Hours: 24 or 36 per week; Days or nights shifts available; rota covers 7 days per week (including every other weekend).
