About the role:

HiBob is looking to add a team member to our legal department as a key member of our legal team, with the opportunity to shape processes, influence strategy, and grow alongside a rapidly scaling company. This is a replacement role, initially offered on a temporary or fixed-term contract. There is potential for the position to transition to a permanent role following the temporary period.

We view the ideal candidate as one who has excellent business acumen and experience running commercial agreements from start to finish.

In this challenging position, you will partner with internal stakeholders (GTM, Customer Success, Procurement, Marketing, Dev and Security) in managing, negotiating and executing commercial transactions, as well as providing ongoing legal advice. In addition, you will provide guidance, support and leadership to cross-functional teams worldwide about various legal and regulatory matters such as data privacy and security issues.

Requirements:

  • Law degree from a top university;
  • 3-5 years of relevant legal experience as an in-house lawyer in a legal department of a high-tech company or in the commercial/high-tech department of a major law firm;
  • Excellent negotiation, drafting and analytical skills, and extensive commercial transactions experience;
  • Prior experience working with large multi-national customers and partners;
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple matters and conflicting priorities, while balancing legal and business concerns;
  • Experience in technology related agreements and SaaS, especially dealing with sales transactions;
  • Experience with data privacy and security issues in the technology space (CCPA, GDPR, etc.);
  • Exceptionally strong communication and interpersonal skills.
