Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail‑oriented Payroll Specialist to join our Finance team. In this role, you will be responsible for the preparation, review, and management of payroll data, ensuring accurate and timely processing across multiple European entities. You will also collaborate closely with HR and Accounting teams to ensure compliance, accuracy, and process efficiency.

Job Requirements

  • Hands‑on payroll experience
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel
  • Experience with payroll accounting – advantage
  • Proven ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Strong sense of responsibility and service orientation towards both internal and external stakeholders
  • Knowledge of local laws and statutory compliance requirements (UK and EU)
  • Experience with ERP systems (NetSuite) – advantage

Job Responsibilities

  • Manage and oversee end‑to‑end payroll processing for multiple entities
  • Support international payroll cycles and outsourced payroll operations across the UK and other European sites
  • Collaborate with HR on employee lifecycle processes, including onboarding, terminations, and time‑off management
  • Ensure accuracy and compliance for approximately 400 employees across multiple sites
  • Maintain compliance with income tax, social security, pension funds, and local labour laws
  • Execute payroll payments through banking systems
  • Perform payroll accounting entries and participate in month‑end closing and financial reconciliations
  • Drive process improvements and ensure alignment with best practices
