The role brings new engagement and existing client growth by focusing on retail clients and collaborating with the Specialty Division to present at RFPs and win new business.

Responsibilities

  • Regularly work with various teams within Howden producing responses to RFPs for new clients from a D&O Insurance point of view.
  • Seek out and engage opportunities to expand the book of business, continuously growing and maintaining a pipeline of new business opportunities.
  • Review client documentation to ensure that information presented is sufficiently comprehensive and accurate to support the quoting / RFP presentation process.
  • Diligently collate and communicate clients’ requirements to ensure appropriate marketing of the risk.
  • Produce high quality, accurate market documentation ensuring appropriate authorisations are secured.

Qualifications

  • Prior knowledge of the market, including awareness of competitors, specific territory knowledge, and cultural awareness.
  • A customer‑focussed approach, with strong networking and influencing skills.
  • Ability to work flexibly and prioritise on‑the‑fly.
  • Calm, resilient, yet accurate and efficient.
