Role Summary

As an Account Executive / Senior Account Executive, you will manage a portfolio of Real Estate clients, handle renewals, new business placements, and lead risk presentations while ensuring high standards of service and contributing to portfolio growth.

Key Responsibilities

  • Act as the primary point of contact for day‑to‑day insurance matters for a Real Estate client portfolio.
  • Lead renewals, new business placements, and mid‑term adjustments to ensure timely and accurate delivery.
  • Review client requirements and structure risks for market presentation.
  • Negotiate with insurers to secure suitable terms, cover and pricing.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, insurers and third parties.
  • Oversee the preparation of market submissions and client documentation, ensuring quality and completeness.
  • Respond to client queries and resolve issues promptly, maintaining consistent service levels.
  • Identify opportunities to retain and develop client relationships, supporting portfolio growth.
  • Work closely with account handlers and technicians to ensure effective service delivery.
  • Monitor progress against renewal timelines and ensure all activity meets agreed deadlines.
  • Maintain accurate records and adhere to internal policies and compliance requirements.

Qualifications

  • Circa 5 years of experience managing or supporting Real Estate clients within an insurance or broking environment.
  • Experience with renewals, placements and mid‑term adjustments.
  • Exposure to negotiating with insurers and presenting risks to market.
  • Proven ability to maintain ongoing client relationships and manage competing priorities across multiple accounts.
  • Understanding of the London Market and insurance processes.
  • Experience collaborating with technical or servicing teams to deliver client outcomes.
  • Professional insurance qualifications (e. g. ACII) are desirable or in progress; relevant market qualifications such as LLMIT are desirable.
  • Strong written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Good numeracy skills with confidence working with figures and client data.
