We are looking for a Senior Account Handler within our Health & Care Team. This person will support their team to deliver a comprehensive service in the administration of new business, renewal and mid‑term changes – all to ensure our customers’ needs are best met through suitable cover and pricing.
What You’ll Do
- Regularly monitor renewals and new business activity to aid effective planning and resourcing.
- Supervise the prompt and accurate production of documentation to best meet clients’ needs.
- Respond to market and third‑party queries, proposing and producing high‑quality market documentation that meets our team’s needs.
- Organise your own work activities to ensure both your personal and team objectives are achieved.
- Work closely alongside the Account Executive to manage and service the book throughout the year, ensuring seamless coordination, timely follow‑up, and proactive support across all client and project needs.
- Maintain appropriate client files and credit control, liaising with support technicians and the IBA as and when required.
Who We’re Looking For
- Experience in Health & Care insurance (preferred).
- Customer‑focused approach with the ability to work independently and flexibly to meet tight deadlines.
- Analytical yet approachable, capable of building sustainable relationships with team members and clients.
- Willingness to learn and teach junior members of the team.
- Attainment of ACII status desirable (but not required).
- Attainment of LLMIT (Lloyd’s and London Market Introductory Test) desirable where relevant.
